Packaging design — shelf-ready, export-ready, regulation-ready
What you get
-
Production-ready packaging artwork
AI/PDF files at the correct dieline, with bleed, overprint and spot colours set up the way your printer needs them. We talk to the printer before final files leave the studio — most rework happens because designer and printer never spoke.
-
Multi-language label compliance
Azerbaijani, Russian and English on the same pack where required by the State Service for Antimonopoly Control. Mandatory fields — barcode, weight, ingredients, manufacturer, expiry — laid out so they read, not just exist.
-
SKU system that scales
Templates designed so adding a flavour, size or sub-line is a 30-minute design job, not a re-design. Master file, swatch library, photography spec.
-
3D mockups and shelf preview
Render of the pack in real lighting, on a real shelf, next to real competitors from the Baku market. Decisions are made on what the customer will actually see, not on a centred flat mockup.
How we approach it
1. Category and shelf research
Photos and analysis of the actual shelf the product will sit on — Bravo, Bazarstore, Araz, or an export shelf in Tbilisi or Istanbul. We design against the real visual noise, not abstract competitors.
2. Three real directions
Three packaging directions, each with master SKU rendered in 3D. Discarded directions stay discarded — we present strong options only.
3. Refine and extend across SKUs
Chosen direction is rolled across the full SKU range. Compliance fields placed. Print specs locked with the chosen printer.
4. Print proof and approval
We attend or remotely review the first print proof. Colour, registration, knife position checked on the real machine. Approval is signed on the proof, not on a screen.
When not to hire us for this
- You want to use last year's photos and just 'refresh the colours' — that is not packaging design, that is a paint job.
- You have no printer chosen and no production timeline — we cannot lock specs without one of those decided.
- You want one packaging design for 12 SKUs that have nothing in common — those need to be three or four sub-systems, not one.
- You will not budget for proper photography of the product — packaging design for food, cosmetics and beverages depends on it.

-
A vitamins and supplements brand built from zero — Biovitamin.az
A new vitamins and supplements brand needed identity, logo, site, SEO, and a social-media presence as one launch. We delivered the full brand identity and the digital surface from zero — a launch that arrived as one product, not five.
-
A green-field operational stack for AAGRO
An agricultural company asked us to build their digital and physical operations layer from zero. We delivered the server, hosting, mail server, ERP, security systems — turnstile, cameras, biometrics — and the network that ties them toget…
Frequently asked questions
How much does packaging design cost in Baku?
A single SKU, including artwork, mockups and print-ready files, starts around 1,500 AZN. A multi-SKU range with a master system and rolled-out variants typically lands between 4,000 and 12,000 AZN depending on count.
Do you handle regulatory compliance on labels?
We handle the layout and ensure all mandatory fields are present and legible. Final regulatory sign-off — antimonopoly service, ministry of health where relevant — sits with your QA team or your lawyer, not with us. We design to their rules.
Can you design packaging for export?
Yes — we regularly produce packaging for Azerbaijani brands selling into Turkey, Russia, the UAE and Europe. Each market has different mandatory fields and language requirements; we adapt the master without redesigning.
Do you work with my printer or recommend one?
Either. If you have a printer, we get their print specs before designing. If you do not, we recommend Baku printers we have shipped jobs with — flexible, offset, digital — and brief them directly.
How long does packaging design take?
Two to six weeks depending on SKU count and approvals. Single SKU is two weeks; a 10–20 SKU range with regulatory review is closer to six.
Brand is Phase 0. Site, product, and product design follow. If you're ready to start, send a short brief.
