Full ecosystem for a fashion brand — e-shop, app, identity
Wearcool needed all the pieces at once: e-commerce site, native mobile app, and a brand identity system tying them together. We delivered the full ecosystem with the brand language consistent across every surface.

Starting point
Most fashion brands ship the e-shop first and bolt on a mobile app a year later, and the two never quite match. Wearcool wanted to avoid that — the brand should look and feel the same whether the customer hit the site, the app, or the packaging.
Brands usually trip on this kind of ecosystem brief by shipping the easy piece first and bolting on the harder pieces later. By the time everything's live, the surfaces don't match. We refused that order of work.
Decisions
- Brand identity first, then web and mobile against it — not the other way around.
- Native mobile app, not a hybrid wrapper — fashion UX detail demands native interaction.
- Web and mobile share the API, so catalogue and orders never drift.
- Identity system documented — typography, palette, motion principles all in one place.
- Brand identity led the entire project — every product decision after that point referenced the system.
Execution
Headless commerce backend, Next.js storefront, React Native mobile, all consuming the same product catalogue. Brand system delivered as a Figma library plus a written guide.
The app and the web share product, catalogue, and order endpoints; surfaces differ only where the platform demands it. That keeps the brand reading as one thing across the customer's day.
“Brands fail the ecosystem test when surfaces stop matching. Shipping all three at once is harder up front, cheaper forever after.”
— Elvin Sharifov
Result
- Three surfaces that read as the same brand — that was the entire point.
- Native app with first-class browsing and checkout.
- An identity system the team can extend without us.
- Customer experience reads as one brand — that was the whole point of taking the slower path.
