A performance site that produces leads for a marketing agency — SMMA.az
A marketing agency needed a site that does what they sell — generates leads. We built a tight performance site and an SEO programme aligned to qualified inbound, not vanity traffic.

Starting point
Agencies that sell marketing are judged on their own surface. SMMA.az had a presence but not a performance site — the homepage was a brochure, the conversion path was buried, and the SEO targets weren't aligned to the kind of buyer the agency actually wanted on a sales call.
The brief was a focused, five-week build. Elvin Şərifov led the design and SEO programme; Bəhram İbadov backed the rollout on the DevOps side.
Decisions
- Target the buyer, not the searcher — SEO targets were filtered to queries that map to qualified buyers, not "free guide" searches that never convert.
- One conversion path, not five — the homepage and service pages drive to one clear call to action with measurable instrumentation.
- Proof before claims — the site leads with what the agency has actually shipped, in the order the buyer needs to see it.
- Performance enforced — fast on real devices; image and font policy defined up front.
Execution
Five weeks: research and IA in week one, design and build in the middle three, technical SEO and content polish in the last. The site shipped clean and measurable. The agency now sees which messages and which entry points produce qualified calls — and adjusts accordingly.
"An agency's own site is the loudest sales argument they will ever make. If it doesn't perform, nothing else they say about performance lands."

Result
- SEO targets aligned to qualified buyers, not vanity traffic.
- One clear conversion path across the site.
- Proof in the order the buyer needs it.
- Measurable inbound — the agency sees which entry points produce calls.
