An online media brand built end-to-end — Mag.az
An online media outlet needed a brand identity, an editorial site, an SEO programme, and a social-media presence delivered as one launch. We owned all of it — and the publication shipped with a coherent voice from day one.

Starting point
A media brand launches with a problem most product brands never face: it has to be readable, identifiable, and indexable from the first article — there is no soft launch with three followers. Mag.az needed a brand identity, an editorial site, an SEO programme, and a social presence that all said the same thing on day one.
The brief was a single ten-week programme. Elvin Şərifov led identity, web, SEO, and social design; Bəhram İbadov backed the rollout on the DevOps side and made sure the hosting could survive a publication launch.
Decisions
- Identity built around editorial voice — the logo, type, and palette were chosen to support long-form text, not to dominate it.
- Site structured around article reading — typography, line lengths, and contrast were tuned for the reader, with category and tag pages structured for SEO.
- SEO from launch day — canonical, structured data, sitemap, and internal linking shipped clean.
- Social channels as distribution, not duplication — the SMM cadence was designed around moving readers into the article, not republishing the article inside Instagram.
- Performance enforced — fast on real devices, even on slow connections where readers actually are.
Execution
Ten weeks: identity in the first two, web design and editorial CMS in the middle five, SEO and social rollout in the last three. The publication launched with one voice across logo, site, and social. The editorial team could publish from day one without a workaround.
"A publication is a voice. Everything else — logo, site, social — has one job: make sure that voice arrives intact."
— Elvin Şərifov + Bəhram İbadov
Result
- One coherent voice across logo, site, and social.
- Editorial site tuned for reading, with SEO-aware category and tag pages.
- SEO baseline shipped on launch day.
- Social cadence designed for distribution, not duplication.
